They seem to be a great service so far, just signed up though so I'll test them out.

i haven't gotten my email from them yet, could you (or someone) clue me in on the db settings?

I signed up for them to install VB, and while it worked fine for a few days, chaos erupted. For the past few days when trying to access my forum, it would actually lead to ANOTHER forum on the host.

gamingdreams.jumpworld.net/vb

I contacted the person linked there, and apparently he set up a forum on Jumpworld, and my site links to it...Jumpworld has yet to reply though.

But anyway, I just left the db settings at default and everything seemed to work finely.

Jumpworld responded very quickly to my question. I set up vB no problems(though it was only for testing purposes...and it is not used)

phreak -- I said I have had no problems with them. The support was excellent when I asked a question.

its a great host, the problem most people seem to be having isn't even a problem, they just aren't adding the user to the DB, they create the DB but never click the add user button

They recently dropped and ended the free service.

They were one of the best but anyway all good things must end. :(

However, interserver.net, the people who ran it did and still do provide great virtual hosting, I've used em for 7 months now, and bar some upgrades that didnt 100% work, which were fixed quickly its been a smooth ride.

yeah but I know a site that had no end of trouble with downtime.
