I just tried to upgrade from 3.6.4 to 3.6.0, and after following the online upgrade prompts I now get this message:

Your vBulletin (3.6.4) does not appear to be running the version that was downloaded (3.6.0).

This generally means your upgrade was not successful. Please ensure that you have uploaded the latest files and click here to try again.

If you are sure you wish to continue with this part of the upgrade, click here.
----------------------------------------

So what should I do now? Can anybody help?

I just realised what I did wrong - I didn't upload the amended config.php file. I've now uploaded the amended version but I'm still unable to go back and install the upgrade.

Any suggestions?

What error do you get now when you try to run the upgrade script?

Exactly the same one. The forum software will not allow me to go back and try again.

What version are you running and what are you attempting to upgrade to? You say you are trying to upgrade from 3.6.4 to 3.6.0. 3.6.4 is a newer version than 3.6.0.

3.6.5 is the latest stable version.

I am currently running 3.6.4 and am attempting to upgrade to version 3.6.4.

This is the only version the member's area would allow me to download.

doh! Just realised the license has expired and I'm trying to upgrade to the version I'm already running ;-(

Why are you trying to upgrade to the same version? If you want to upgrade to 3.6.5, you'll most likely need to renew your license to access this version.

Hmm.. I've renewed the license and it's still showing as expired.

Oops - looks like I've paid for a new license rather than the upgrade. How do I proceed?

When did you order the renewal? Please open a support ticket (http://www.vbulletin.com/go/techsupport) with the relevant order ID so we can check the order.
