And when I put my number in there, it accepts it and recognizes it... then goes to THIS screen.
The MySQL database was set up find on the host. What am I doing wrong?
I go through Crystaltech (www.crystaltech.com (http://www.crystaltech.com)). I called them up with this message that vBulletin gives.... they say the MySQL database is set up fine for me.

This means that PHP is not installed with MySQL support. If your host does not understand what that means, then do yourself a favor and find another host quickly.

How do I alleviate this?

*update
Spoke to tech support on the ISP again, they said that PHP is already enabled and installed... any .PHB file should work fine as soon as it's uploaded.
They also said I needed to update to the latest vBulletin, 3.6.5, which I did, and that this would solve problem. It didn't.
Thoughts? Heeeelp! :)

Are you getting the same error? If so, then my reply in post #2 still applies.
If not, then you need to provide the new error.

Spoke to tech support on the ISP again, they said that PHP is already enabled and installed... any .PHB file should work fine as soon as it's uploaded. Yes, but is it installed with MySQL-support?

Yes, MySQL support is enabled and I created the database fine as far as I know. Or is MySQL-support something seperate? I have no idea.
Steve : Yes, same error.

Like mentioned before: PHP must be installed with MySQL support, please contact your host.
