i generally don't have any issues with importing from phpbb to vb but today im getting 5 users who will not import... one of the errors im getting is

invalid impexdata object, skipping. Failed on : email

not sure about the rest as it just flashes by so quickly

It looks like there is a problem with the data for those users. How many users imported and how many didn't?

This means that they don't have email addresses.
