Duplicate Users on Import

I have a set of users who have duplicated usernames because the forum I imported from had a bunch of duplicates. For example, usernames sam and ted have:

imported_sam
imported_sam
imported_sam
imported_sam
imported_sam
imported_ted
imported_ted
imported_ted
imported_ted

Is there a way to delete these other than going into my db and removing them?

You can delete users by going to Users > Search for User > Locate the user you need > Expand the drop down menu at the top of their edit user screen > Select Delete

Alternatively, if these are the same user, you can merge them into one user using the Merge Users Option in the User Menu in the AdminCP.

Finally, you can edit the usernames if you wish to retain these users as unique users, by editing the user in the adminCP and replacing the username with a new unique one for that user.
