Some users are complaining that they dont want that checked by default because they forget to uncheck it and then they get an e-mail every time someone replies to a thread that they have participated in.

I can see that the way the input tag is setup in the templates:
<input type="CHECKBOX" name="email" value="yes" $emailchecked>

But now I guess I need to know where I go to set the value for $emailchecked to ""

Anyone?

Thanks in advance

$emailchecked is a variable set in the code which depends on a CP setting.

You can either disable the setting in the CP, or just completely omit the $emailchecked variable from the template.

Fast reply...and post #100! :D

Whoops, looks like you meant on the posting page template -- my bad :)
