Multiple Installations of VB - One Sign Up

Hello,

I have a query regarding multiple installations of VB, I understand that i will need a license for each forum, this is not a problem, i will purchase as many licenses as i need to be covered. What i would like to know is if i can point each installation to one members table in the MySql database. The reason for this is so members only have to sign up once, allowing them to use any of the other forums that i own, but at the same time each forum is on its own database.

Is this possible?
If it would need custom coding, would i be able to pay some one for it, any rough costs?

This isn't a default feature of vbulletin and would require custom coding. I'm not sure what the costs would be. You may be able to inquire on vbulletin.org or sitepoint for an estimate. As always, choose who you work with carefully to avoid issues.

There is an extensive code modification for vBulletin 3.5.x series to do this.
