vbulletin layout question?

i am using phpBB currently, and i was wondering if i made a layout that was based off a vbulletin layout skin, would i get sued? like i mean will u guys think im using an unregistered vbulletin? how can i diginify that its not a vbulletin forum? :eek:

As long as you are not using any vB images or clones of these copyrighted images then you should be fine.

a way to find if the board is not a vBulletin is simple.. phpBB does not have a single file named the same way vBulletin does... (forumdisplay, showthread etc...) so you don't have to fear to be sued for a "mimic" of vBulletin... :)
