PHPBB3 Beta 5 to VB?

I am on the recieving end of a license transfer :) I currently have a phpbb3 Beta 5 forum that I need to transfer to VB (once the license transfer is complete).

I found a thread of someone else wanting to do the same @ http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=223248 . I was wondering if this is possible yet? Or even if it will be possible at all?

Currently only Alpha is tested, but typically there aren't any database changes, thus it should also work with the beta versions.

Altering tables

ImpEx will now Alter the tables in the vB database to include import id numbers.This is needed during the import process for maintaining refrences between the tables during an import.If you have large tables (i.e. lots of posts) this can take some time.They will also be left after the import if you need to link back to the origional vB userid.

Then the short answer could have been : no, i have issues importing from my "source" database impexing into vbulletin 3.6.5.

note: impex does not support alpha, beta, rc's etc.
If there was one in the past it was made as a courtesy.

For those still wondering whether or not it is possible to import from phpBB3 Beta 5 to vBulletin, it is.

I've been able to import from a phpBB3 Beta 5 board, I got those errors about the email, it's normal since it's all the "bot" users in phpbb3. For the categories, I guess it's a special case. If you have any questions, I can probably help.

I going to be changing from vBulletin if I can be 100% sure that the convertor is now working, I saw this in another thread (which I don't have the permissions to reply to): -

The last board that I wrote the importer for was alpha, I was going to hold off until phpBB3 was released as otherwise i'd be doing a lot of changes.

Though seeing as its now in beta if someone wants to contact me (via the support system) I could update the importer for that, and then RC, and gold after than would seem prudent :)

Has the conventor for phpBB3 Beta 5 been released, as I would love to upgrade to vBulletin as it looks so much more professional.
