I am looking to go to a virtual dedicated server, and have a choice ahead of me, windows or linux? I have some experience with linux, but not alot, whereas I have alot more server2003 experience, so I know windows would be easier on me to begin with. The only thing I believe linux would have less overhead and provide me with better web performance on comperable hardware.
Any pro's and con's of each, and how difficult would someone say it would be to manage a linux server with minimal experience, but using cpanel or plesk, and how much command line would I need to know or learn?
