3.63 Step 2) Connect to the database...nothing

I am installing 3.6.3 and hit a wall on Step 2.

Processing appears to be finished, there's no browser activity at least, yet there is nothing but Step 2) Connect to the database listed.

My MySQL database is set up and everything seems to be fine on the server side but the step 2 process has me hanging.

Any suggestions?

Please open a support ticket, providing details to your AdminCP, FTP/SSH, phpMyAdmin and databasename/user/password.

Yep, I found the problem. I had simply transposed letters in an entry in the config.php. That one small miss-q caused a couple hours of frustration.
