I made the mistake of making my forum on a proboard and had no idea it was going to blow up the way it did.....it started as a tiny nothing fan site and now I am actually running the official fan forum for a pretty famous band and its growing by atleast 100 members a month. All of the admin really want to get away from our proboard and get something nice like Vbulletin, but we are hesitant to lose all of our information and members and posts and start from scratch. Is there any possible way to import anything? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Proboard is currently not supported by ImpEx from what I can see. So the import process might be annoying. Additionally Proboard is remotely hosted; I don't know if they would release your database to you (free or with a charge), so what is most important is that you'd need to get a hold of that... After you have a db backup, perhaps you can contact Jerry to see if he can write you a custom ImpEx to process your database backup.

ProBoards outright refuses to give you a copy of your data. For a short period of time, you could "buy" your way out and get a copy of your data, but that's long since gone.
I know of no way to import from ProBoards to anything else.
You should POST a new message in this thread:
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=100464
asking for ProBoards. If enough people ask, vBulletin will write an importer that goes through your forum like a bot and sucks down all the data.
