I find some posts from the Developer, that he works on a Oracle Version of this Forum.
Exist any Oracle Version?
Gives any Multilanguage Versions of this Forum?

Hmmmm.... now you have me thinking... how much faster/stable/etc would Oracle be compared to MySQL? Last week I was looking for some benchmarks & learned that Oracle does not permit third parties to publish benchmark related info about their product, instead they do any benchmarking in-house and allow those results to be used. I might be wrong about Oracle not allowing third party benchmarks to be published, but that's the way I understood it.

tpc.org benchmarks Oracle and lots of other stuff. Oracle generally won't be any faster than mySQL but it's sure a lot more stable; I'm convinced that mySQL is Russian roulette for discussion board sites with an exceptional amount of activity (e.g. 400+ users online at once) and so we're porting ours...

Kevin,
When you get ported to Oracle, I would be VERY interested in looking at it, if you don't mind. I only have about 100 members on at a time, but it sort of strains mySQL on NT.
