This means that either the php files were not uploaded correctly as ASCII, or your server is not correctly parsing php files.
First, reupload all the original vB non-image files. Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server.
For the paid installation, what is your question?

I'm having this same problem and it's driving me crazy. i'm doing a new install of 3.64. I've re-uploaded everything and made sure all the non-image files were uploaded in ASCII. I've even tried deleting the forums dir and making a completely new upload dir. I still get the install login screen that asks for my customer # but then I get the download box.
the empty DB is setup
config.php has been edited
my old VB2.3 board is still up and running fine
Is there anything else I could try? thanks in advance
