Q :- If I change 'admincpdir' and 'modcpdir', during installation to equal newnameadmincp, and newnamemodcp.
It says 'please note that if you change the directory here, you still need to manually change the name of the directory on the server'
Could I ask someone to clarify (in idiots terms) what else I need to do? Or can I proceed with installation?
Thankyou

If you have changed the directories in config.php then you also need to change these on your server to match. You can do this by renaming the directory names in your FTP client to the same as they are in config.php

Am I essentially looking for a folder/file that was called admincp originally?
(ps I havent FTP'd anything yet)

Yes, you can rename it before you upload it. You will have one called admincp and one called modcp which need to match the names in config.php
