G'day.
I've been running on a leased license for the past two years, and one of my co-administrators has purchased a license for us (since renewal is coming up within two weeks). Doing so, he was given a new, unique Customer ID Number. So, he logged into the vBulletin site, downloaded 3.6.4 and I'm in the process of upgrading our test server (version 3.6.2) with the new version.
When I am prompted to enter the customer ID number and I enter the new customer ID number for the purchased license, the upgrade interface simply stops and re-asks me for the customer ID number. I've tried several times now, and the upgrade process will NOT let me continue with the new customer ID number. When I entered the old customer ID number (the number that the current test server is licensed to), the upgrade process took place as normal.
What do I need to do, to change over from the current Customer ID Number to the new one, while maintaining my users and database integrity?
Thanks!
