Cannot Upgrade

I'm a new user, but I am trying to upgrade for the security patch.

The upload never completes. I contacted my server last night, but just wanted to check and see if there is a step I missed (or added) that might make the the upload incompatible before I contact the server again.

I followed the steps in the upgrade instructions. When I was unable to connect, I changed the information includes/config file but I am still losing the connection.

I've tried SmartFTP and per the host company instuctions, using the ftp:// url.

This is an issue associated with your FTP client timing out to your web server and has nothing to do with vbulletin.

Thanks. I just wanted to make sure before I spend another 30 minutes on hold. So there is nothing that I could change in the config file to make a difference?
