Step 2 Error

Error description: mysql_connect(): Unknown MySQL Server Host 'local host' (0) /forums/includes/class_core.php on line 273

The database has failed to connect because you do not have permission to connect to the server. Please confirm the values entered in the 'includes/config.php' file.

I read the previous post similar to my problem. Could it be the same problem that I had before with the alt. host I had to input for FTP to connect since technically they said my account is still "pending" ? This meant I couldn't connect to the main URL of my site (it's server) through FTP.

Could the same thing be occurring?

Nevermind everyone...false alarm.

I searched the archives and found that Yahoo uses 'mysql' as the server name. I tried this before but had the wrong database.

I am up and running, thanks for the help today.
