10. NEVER allow HTML in posts, PMs or in sigs.

Should I otally disable HTML in all posts, signatures, etc ? My forum will become a little boring then. Are HTML codes a security risk everywhere ?

Should I go as far as to disable the "built in" BB HTML codes using the Admin CP ?

Are any other "code" options potentially unsafe ?

If you do not care about the security of your forums, then allow HTML. If you do care about security, then don't . It's that simple. :)

The "built in" BB HTML codes are not for HTML posting. it's for posting HTML code that is formatted.
