Will Upgrade Interfere with current hacks?

Hi Everyone!

I am due to upgrade from 3.5.4 to 3.6.4 and i have various hacks installed (vbulletin pager) to name but one. and my question is, if i upload everything from the /upload folder to my server, will this overwrite the hacks and will i lose them?

Depends.
Do those hacks require editing of files and templates?
If so you will need to reapply the edits.
Did you check to see if they all work with 3.6.4?

Based on your comments, i think i will just go ahead and upgrade it, and then if the hacks work, great, if not, then re-install them using the latest compatible version from the hack author.
