Upgrade for server - help on config

Hi,

I am running a board with an average 1000 users online at peak hours (between 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM usually, peaks of 1200 users), generating a BW/month of about 250 GB, with Threads: 112,895, Posts: 1,227,727, Members: 37,561, Active Members: 19,024.

What would you recommend for this? A dedicated machine with what config (mem/CPU/hd (raid?).

That number of users is high for the amount of bandwidth (at least compared to my sites). What is your cookie timeout set to?

EDIT: Also, do you have the boolean full-text search enabled? Serve a large number of attachments? Have more than a couple plugins?

cookies timeout is set to 900 sec. (15 min)

We have the boolean full text search enabled and only a couple of plugins. No attachments are allowed on our forum.

I currently don't have ssh access to the serverm but i'll try to get the information
