1. I see that I can customize the info collected for user profiles, but there is a way to collect information at signup that ONLY I would have access to? I am creating a review site (review software will be setup to use my bulletin boards user list) and want to be able to offer sample product based on my users needs. Is it possible for me to collect information like that? I would be happy even if I still had to take that data and manually sort it enter it into another database. I just know the fewer separate signups/forms, the better responce I will get. Though since I am offering free stuff, prob less of an issue.
2. I'm sure this would be listed as an option if it was possible, but is there anyway to plug vBulletin into a mailing list program so that users could opt in to the mailing list when they registered for the forum? I'm sure ITS POSSIBLE to have vBulletin send data elsewhere, but I am a "proficient short of writing my own code" type user, so I can install anything existing - but cannot code it myself.
3. If my current project flops, can I transfer my license to a new project so long as the current one isn't using vBulletin anymore?
My purchasing VBulletin does not HINGE on these things, but I would still like to know.
