vb 3.6.0 security upgrade

If I have 3.6.0 do I only have the choice of a full upgrade, with all file changes, template changes etc.?

There is no 3.6.0 option in the patch section.

That's correct, the patch is for 3.6.2. Upgrading from 3.6.0 to 3.6.3 is pretty easy and should not affect any installed plugins.

Look at the 3.6.1 3.6.2 and 3.6.3 release threads and see which templates need to be updated.
