Upgrading Question

I see that 3.6.3 is out, and since it contains security fixes I'd like to install it. I've never upgraded before (currently running 3.6.2) so I have a couple of questions before I start the process.

I've downloaded 3.6.3 and extracted it. Do I overwrite my current files with the new ones? For example, all the 3.6.3 admincp files go where I have my current 3.6.2 admincp files? Or do I just upload 3.6.3 into a parallel directory and let the upgrade script do everything?

Once I've upgraded, will vBulletin remember my Style settings or am I going to have to go in and fix them?
