create new 3.6.2, then import 3.5.4 data

I have 3.5.4 with quite a few modifications, some installed correctly, some not. Some uninstalled incorrectly, or could not be uninstalled.

I would like to create a clean 3.6.2 vB, then "import" the 3.5.4 data only.

What would be the simplest way?

Install fresh vB 3.6.2
Create new empty DB
import 3.5.4 DB to 3.6.2 DB? <--- How?

Thank you. So do I need to export with Impex first at 3.5.4, then import with Impex to new install (now 3.6.3)?

2. Install ImpEx
3. Import the 3.5.4 data to the new 3.6.3

how did this method work for you? i just tried doing this and i ran into errors with the import.
