What did you install to increase traffic? Any Tips?

Hello Guys,

I think my board (www.globalgoldtalk.com (http://www.globalgoldtalk.com/)) is an average size and was wondering for any advises or tips how to increase traffic.
What hacks did you install to help you with the traffic building?

Traffic increase isn't a mere techniqal issue, especially when the site is a forum. I would suggest that you visit The Admin Zone (http://www.theadminzone.com) for a huge amount of literature on every forum aspect, including traffic increase.

I think sigs are disabled. I do have VBSEO installed:)

I put downloads on my server, people downloaded them and joined the forum. Also advertised in my signature area / avatar and what not.

Not really an installation but articles are great, vBPortal or something perhaps?
