php rules!

I've just started learning php (my first language besides HTML) and I think it rules.

All the perl coders told me it sucked, but they were wrong!

Perl is quite a good language, but PHP seems a lot easier. I'm a programmer in VB (mainly) but am having to learn Perl for work. I can see where Perl programmers are coming from in that they don't like people saying that Perl is bloated and outdated, as I would be rather offended if people started saying that about VB.

And if you get rather too many people saying that, I've got no job! Lucky I'm learning Notes, Perl, PHP and SQL Server as well really!
