3.6 --> 3.61 Still showing 3.6

I just ran the upgrade from 3.6 to 3.61, but it's still showing as version 3.6.

Does this mean that my upgrade was unsuccessful?

(I followed all the instructions and got through the 5 steps successfully)

Please help!

I fixed this problem by deleting the install folder and re-uploading it, then re-running the upgrade script.

It seems that the file upgrade_361.php wasn't present... even though I uploaded it. Instead I saw upgrade_360b(or something to that effect).

Trying to just upload the single file upgrade_361.php didn't work for me. I had to delete the entire install folder and re-upload it.

Then I ran into the error on step 5: you are running a version of vb that wasn't downloaded... I just clicked my way through it a couple of times and voila.
