i am am trying to find a service which will give me an ftp i can use to host files, which people can download at a ratio (which i can change when i want. I cannot find anywheere yet. I dont mind paying for it as I need it urgently.

Im with hostrocket already, I didnt know they have an option for setting up ftps with a ratio ... ???

As far as i can see, they dont offer a service like that :(

Does anyone know where I can buy an ftp with space with a static ip and which I can set ratios to. I could have one on my computer but seeing i am on a modem, itspretty useless :)

What would the server be used for?

The only actual use of ratios I've encountered have been on sites offering pirated downloads.

Yup, the only thing I think would help ya is, get a dedicated server and install glftpd, it has ratio capabilities, and dupe checking, since you'll be using it for files that might be important....
