PM check

Ok, I have this on forumhome template:

$forumbits
$loggedinusers
$pminfo

And the PM thing doesn't show up.
The only thing I have under Forum Home Page Templates is forumhome_pmloggedin.
I tried replacting $pminfo with $pmloggedin or changin the name of forumhome_pmloggedin to forumhome_pminfo.
Won't work... please help me! :)

Ok, after I logged in as a regular test user, I see the PM bit.
But why can't I see it when I'm an admin???

in user control panel -> options do you do yourself have pm function enabled ? or do you have it disabled in admin control panel -> edit options?
