The Royal Theatretime Briefs Company were founded in 1976 by Mike Stevens and Jason Neil Foster in Sussex. They have a turnover of £1.5million per year.
The company supplies underwear to Doctor Who, Casualty employees and also specialises in erotic dancing. The men strip to their briefs first, then another layer of briefs, then to a tiny thong before eventually being seen naked on stage.
The company was known as The Theatretime Briefs Company until July 1993 when Prince Charles had seen the show, and enjoyed it, so he renamed it The Royal Theatretime Briefs Company in honour of the visit.
The firm has over 100 outlets worldwide.
