Hello, I was previously a member of the VBulletin forum, because I had purchased my own copy of VBulletin about two years ago, and still possess license ownership for the 3.5 VBulletin.
I would like to get the most updated version of VBulletin and have a VBulletin professional personally install the VBulletin program onto my personal computer, getting it fully operational with any other affiliate programs that are necessary for it (such as MySQL, etc).
Please be aware that I do not wish to run the program on a server, but rather I just want to run the program on my personal computer, where no one else has access to it. Sort of like a glorified word processor. I am writing a book and require the power of the VBulletin program which other programs do not afford me.
How would I go about this? And what costs are entailed to have a VBulletin professional install the program for me, so that it is fully operational on my personal computer?

You can order a professional installation service in your members area by clicking on 'Upgrade / Renew' next to the appropriate license. Make sure the license is still active.
Be advised that this does not include installation of Apache, PHP and MySQL, so you'd have to install those yourself beforehand, and an FTP server as well.

I don't know how to install Apache, PHP or MySQL myself. I was wondering if one of your professionals could hook up directly to my personal computer and do it for me. I simply can't get it done on my own due to my personal naivity. I've tried fervently before over many hours and failed. Is such a service package available, and if so, then how much does it cost?

:D Okay, please give me a day or so because I have to go to work first. Perhaps we can have it done in a few days then at a time of your leisure. I'm just about headed out the door of my house right now. Do I have to sign up as a member under a particular service package agreement?

Simply open a ticket at the link I provided, asking for me, and I can check on the status of your old license, and let you know what exactly needs to be done.

Install Apache, PHP, MySQL in one fell swoop on your PC with WAMP (Windows Apache, MySQL, PHP):

You won't need FTP since you are in control of the PC, but if you want a simple FTP server, try Serv-U FTP. That's what I use so I can access my PC from anywhere.

Also he might want to consider XAMPP (http://www.apachefriends.org), a one-step installation of Apache, MySQL, PHP & Perl but bundled with a bunch of very useful utilities such as FileZilla FTP server, OpenSSL, ADOdb, Zend Optimizer, IonCube encoders, etc.
