What I need changed is the "max_allowed_packet" variable. I need it set to 6M

This is what I received back from them...

We really can't make this kind of change. This insures that we have a
consistent configuration across all our web hosting servers. Otherwise, the
logistics of effectively managing a large number of web hosting servers would
take up too much of our resources and we would not be able to deliver our web
hosting services at such a good price.

Do you guys have any idea what I could do to get this setting changed on my database.

If they won't make the change for you, then there's really nothing you can do... (other then shopping for a provider that will allow this).
