Wont connect to database

I just got GoDaddy Hosting, and I have all the files uploaded but when it comes up to the time to connect to the database it can't, anyone can help, how to get it to connect?

I know I am supposed to edit the config to change the variables, but I do not know what to change, and I did edit some of the stuff, still no go....


If anyone could help that would be great, thanks :)

You'll have to ask godaddy for the correct details you need to enter in the config.php file.

Well I emailed them a hour ago or so but my friend emailed them before, and they basically said its not our problem, contact vBulletin... :(:confused:

You need to edit the config.php file and put in the information about the database where vBulletin can store its information. Only your host can provide this information

The vBulletin online manual is pretty detailed, the section you need once you have this information from godaddy is : http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/main/editconfig
