Question regarding mods

Guys,

If I do an upgrade, will this get rid of all my mods and their templates. I was thinking about doing a fresh install, cuz there are old templates from previous mods that are no longer in use that i cant get rid of.

There are also mods from 3.5.4 that are on my board too. How does an upgrade impact these?

Upgrading will remove any file modification you've made, but not any plugins, databases changes or template modifications.

Upgrading will remove any file modification you've made, but not any plugins, databases changes or template modifications.
Although some templates will need to be reverted to work properly.
