I have found some threads but just want to make sure I understand this correctly:

The vbulletin import system has a way to merge two existing vbulletin boards together?

I have read this:
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showpost.php?p=764435&postcount=2

of course I would test this first! I just wanted to make sure that I am clear and that it can be done

Sorry for the silly question!

Yes, you can merge two vBulletin forums using ImpEx.
Please be advised that ImpEx doesn't support vBulletin 3.6.0 as a source yet though.

Is there a timeline as to when 3.6 will be supported as a source?

We have two communities that are merging. My forums are at 3.54 but I will do the upgrade path to 3.6.

The other community is at 3.6. Their forums will be merged with ours as we have the established history and destination domain.

Are there any options for us yet? :)

You can import from 3.5.4 to 3.6.0

Sorry, but re-reading I din't make it clear.

In the end, I will have the need to move the other community 3.6 user/posts into our newly-upgraded 3.6 forums.

Essentially combine two 3.6 forums. From earlier post, it sounds as if this is not yet available?

Thanks!
