Can users delete themselves?

Can users delete themselves? If not, could this be an added feature?

I personaly would never want this, and what would happen to their posts?

well, move the user to a new group--say, inactive user group. This way when we do mass email (er, when that gets fixed), all other users save the inactive users would get email.
