Forgive me if this is in the wrong place, but can someone give me a reliable host for boards with members up and beyond 20,000 members? (prolly a few thousand "active")
Currently I have 5,000 registered members and about 1,000 are active. i expect the number increase greatly in the near future and would like a reliable host. ipowerweb.com has just not lived up to its expectations for me and their VPS.

How many users online at the same time? I could have 100,000 members and if only 100 are on every day and at 10 at a time it wouldn't be a big deal.

A VPS should be able to handle your trafic. Altho How much are you planning for growth wise over the next 12 months?

honestly speaking, with the right server, i expect to see upwards 150+ people on at most during our highest peak within the next year or so. especially during the times colleges start again

I would be looking at a dedicated server, preferably 2 processors or 1 processor with 2 cores, 2 gb of ram, and SCSI drives over SATA and SATA over IDE.
