Had few other questions lined up. Will add them to this thread later when i remember :)

Anyway uh, in terms of Post display mode. Is it still possible for users to alter the style? Ie. default is poster details on top of post. Previously it was Poster details on left, then post on right. I've browsed through User CP and cannot find the option to change this.

Is it still supported?

There is no option for users to change this. This is an option in the Admin CP:

Admin CP -> vBulletion Options -> Style & Language Settings -> Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template -> Yes

However there is a workaround for this. Just create two styles and copy the contents of the postbit_legacy template in postbit on one style, and vice versa on the other. Then your members can choose which style they prefer.

there is a "hack" at vb.org that would provide you the exact thing you wish for your members... so members can select from Legacy or New style display for postbits in their UserCP Options. it's a quick hack, takes 10 seconds to install...:) (you just need to be registered here and there!)
