Hi,

I was wondering if the following can be done under a 'Leased License'; I already have 2 licenses.

If I wanted to change the domain name I run a certain vBulletin installation from, to another domain would I need to purchase a 3rd license? Of course I would not run vBulletin from the old domain.

The license I am referring to is a 'Leased License' not a 'Owned License', hence I will be renewing it in October/November anyway. And purchasing another 'Owned License' in November.

It would still be on the same server but used under a new domain, this is why I am asking. I noticed in the Members Area that the domain could be edited, but was not sure whether or not to do this, before confirming this with yourselves.

Each vBulletin license is restricted to one domain of your choice. It can be changed and moved as you see fit, so as long as the previous installation is closed before moving your installation.

Out of Curiosity does this also include sub domains or can you use your owned licence in each sub-domain?

1 site = 1 liscence

If you have 2 subdomains featuring different content, etc, then each would need its own liscence.

Price is decreased over time with each license, if you bought one now next month and again in another month so 160 160 148. If you bought 3 today it'd be 148 each.
