I have very limited technical skills and so when I have a problem with our board, I have to rely on volunteers to help me sort them out. These volunteers may well be busy with their day job and so I can't rely on them.
For example, my site went down yesterday. I don't understand the reasons why. The hosting service put it back up again, but it won't take new posts.
From time to time, we run into capacity problems and have to upgrade our server. I have no way of assessing if our hosting service is giving me a good deal or not.
Is there some company which specialises in dealing with vBulletin technical issues? Ideally they would have some way of monitoring the site and take action if it goes down.
As I am based in Ireland, ideally it would operate around European time, rather than American time. But that would not be essential.
