Has anyone done any testing with vBulletin 2 and Zend Cache? I just got the Zend Cache installed and wondered if these timings were out of line:

With cache
Starting benchmark (5 tries)...
Try 1: 8.24 req/s
Try 2: 8.31 req/s
Try 3: 8.18 req/s
Try 4: 8.37 req/s
Try 5: 8.24 req/s
8.268 requests/second from 5 tries

Without cache
Starting benchmark (5 tries)...
Try 1: 4.51 req/s
Try 2: 4.50 req/s
Try 3: 4.48 req/s
Try 4: 4.43 req/s
Try 5: 4.50 req/s
4.484 requests/second from 5 tries

Speedup: 84.39%

This was done on a AMD Duron(tm) Processor (800.03-MHz 686-class CPU) w/ 256MB Ram.

I would say that speed increase is typical of using PHP Cache technologies.

Did ZendCache improve latency times as well?
In other words, assuming no load, did pages display more quickly?
