Hosting Suggestions [Archive] - vBulletin Community Forum

I'm a noob looking to start a board using vBulletin. Can anyone suggest a host? Or give me some suggestions regarding what I should be looking for?

www.duportonline.com is very vbulletin friendly the techs will help you with any vbulletin problems you are having.

I have been with them for almost 8 months now and had no problems.

If I every need any help they are really quick to get back to me :)

Hostingmatters.com is pretty good, from my experience. There are lot of good hosts like web.com etc.. but I willr ecommend someone who doesnt oversell.

Site5, ASmallOrange, Eleven2 adn JaguarPC are all good hosting companies. I've used them all in the past and have had no complaints.

Stay the heck away from JaguarPC! Last year, I lost of all of my web files -- when the server I was on went down along with the backup server!! And I wasn't the only one. It was a total mess that lasted several days. Nice people over there but that one issue let me know that all host companies are not created equal. Never again.
