Anybody here familiar with digg.com? :) I have been on their site for a few months now and kind of like it. It's like the new version of slashdot with articles picked by users and not the editors.
Just curious!

I love it. It gives me a wide array of topics to look at from different sources.

It's basically my rss feed but on a web site ;)

Share your username so I can add you to my friends list :)
Mine is, funnily enough, Chroder (http://digg.com/users/chroder) ;) Haven't actually clicked "digg" in a while though...

I'm on it on a daily basis and Digg almost anything that interests me. Add me: Bara
If you check your friends, you'll see at 25-100 new Diggs by me alone per day, and I guarantee they'll be interesting in some degree (I also go through the "view all" and Digg a lot of stuff there, specifically things dealing with CSS and gaming)

I rarely if ever click digg. I usualyl just browse and read what everyone else find's interesting.
Anyone else do this?
And how often do you submit stories?

Digg is a great source of news. Don't have to sift through all the drama either. I rarely click and have yet to submit, but love it as a news resource.

When I'm logged in I like to click "Digg" just so I have a record of the site in question ;) But digg likes to log me out every so often and I'm lazy to log back in.
I haven't submitted a story yet.

That's another reason I digg stuff, so that in case I ever need to find that site or article again, a simple search on Digg will find it for me rather than trying to look through page after page in Google. My Digg stats:
The Numbers

Stories Dugg: 1,371 (see all (http://www.digg.com/users/Bara/dugg))

Yeah, I love digg...
This is a good link too. Digg/Slashdot/del.icio.us all under one spot.

I like their new approach with v3... On top of everything now, not just technology.

Right back at ya!

I personally dont use RSS feeds... while I like popurls, I almost never visit it unless I'm bored, then I just do a quick scan and click on anything interesting. What I hate about RSS is that most of the time they dont provide the description for the article. Sometimes, the titles are very misleading...

I only wish they would give us the option to set View All as the default rather than Technology...

Yeah, that is pretty annoying.
