users register to send pm's to my users

I have a little problem. The visitors on my site, registers just to send pm's to my users. This is a pain in the ass for the users on my site...

Is there a way, to only allow users with for instance 10 posts to be able to send pm's???

1. Set the registered usergroup so that PMs are disabled.

2. Create a new usergroup with the appropriate overall permissions you want:

Admin CP -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager -> Add New Usergroup

3. Create a Promotion to promote users that reach this post level to that group:

Admin CP -> Usergroups -> Promotions

It doesn't seem like you can turn pm's off for a user group??? or am i looking in the wrong place?

From the Usergroup settings -

Maximum Stored Messages:
If you set this to 0 users from this usergroup will not be able to use private messaging.
