Im going to assume this is a specific problem to my test server but I am in the process of moving our vbulletin server from a shared linux hosting account to a dedicated windows server 2003.
I found some instructions on how to best move the site and that is to basically install a fresh copy of 3.6 (which I did) and then make a backup of the main database and import that and then "rerun" the upgrade script so it makes the necessary changes to the db. Well I did all of that and everything is displaying prefectly but when I try to login or get login to admincp it reads the db fine (gives me the administrator successfully logged in) stuff but the redirect takes me back to admincp login page and im guessing doesnt do the cookie right because it never remembers it. I know we saw this in the past once where you can fix the cookies but I seem to remember you had to actually get in admincp to do it. So how can you access admincp w/o being able to login? (I never was able to do any of the required steps to get 3.6 running properly rebuilding the thread and forum info)
