I need to change the host. How can I take all the forum data to the new host.

I need to change the host. How can I take all the forum data to the new host.
Depense, how much acces do you got? (old host and new)
Do you got telnet, SSH,..?

1) Check your PHP and MySQL version on your old host.
2) Make sure you got these versions running on your new host.
3) Create the same database as on the old host on the new host.
4) Edit the config.php
5) Upload all files of vB and install
6) Restore your backup ;)
7) Update Counters
8) Mass PM your users to tell you moved and that you are back online :)
