Seems like this step is not moving along. How long should this step take on a database in the 2Gig range? Thanks for the input.

The only big things I see is that it alters the attachment table.
If you have a lot of attachments this can potentially take a while.
If the page stops loading, try simply reloading it, if it's still working, let it be.

Thanks for the input. When you say "take a while" how long is a while? Thanks again.

That's hard to say, it depends on the size of your database, and your attachment table.

Looks like it just timed out. Page failed to load after about 30-45 minutes. Ideas? I'm going to try it again.

Try simply reloading the page.
If the same thing happens, you'll have to run the query which is timing out manually from the command line.

It did it again at step 4 350b1.
How do I run the query and from where? Myphpadmin like other queries? What would be the exact command?
Thank you very much for the help.

You'll have to let me know where exactly the script is stalling.
What's the last thing you see on the page?

Step 4) Miscellaneous table alterations 4/6
It never displays anything other than this. The page loading status bar at the bottom goes about half way and than the page fails to load after about 30-45 minutes.

Try running this query manually:
ALTER TABLE subscribeevent DROP PRIMARY KEY;

phpmyadmin query error for the above
Error
SQL query:
ALTER TABLE subscribeevent DROP PRIMARY KEY ;
MySQL said:
#1075 - Incorrect table definition; There can only be one auto column and it must be defined as a key

Hmmm... could you open a support ticket, providing AdminCP, FTP and phpMyAdmin login details, as well as a full description of the problem please?
Thanks.

OK, past the 3.5.0.
Now the holdup is on step 10 of 11
Step 10) Super Moderator Permission Updates
3.6.0 b1
Any reason why this would take longer than 30-45 minutes

Please keep this discussion either in the ticket or on the forums, but not in both places.

May I ask what version you were upgrading from?
Thanks.
