View Full Version : Fastest Shared Hosting Options?

Looking to start hosting my vBulletin using a shared host and then moving on to a dedicated host when my member base grows.

I've used vBulletin on Yahoo before and it didn't perform as I would like it to. There were times searches or simple thread loading would be very slow (sometimes more than 15-20 seconds when I click something).

Anyone know of a shared host that offers faster than average speed (with virtually no hang-ups) when using vBulletin?

By the way, is the vBulletin.com forums on a dedicated host?

That's not normal for any shared host, this not mean that the server is overloaded or anything like that, it could be a routing problem too.

As far as I remember Vbulletin.com was in 2 servers (1 for httpd 1 for mysql) don't know however how is now.

I'm currently with them, no downtime, great support!

One thing I like is there constant upgrades! as soon as a new PHP or MySQL is released and has no known bugs they upgrade all there servers!

I rate them 9/10! :D

Try Hostww.net (http://www.hostww.net). I've been with them for 10 months, and my forum is very fast. They're affordable, reliable, and will get you set up real quick.

one of the best i have ever used, and i am still using is www.devotedhost.biz, very fast & Cheap. there customer service is second to none.
