Hi everyone,

I need to make a quick move to a new host, as my current host 1and1.co.uk has proved to be a disaster in every respect (I highly recommend you avoid them like the plague).

I have three forums and 12 domains, and I need a host that can cope with all that in a single package. I will need to move quickly, as I have threatened 1and1 about going to the Advertising Standards Agency, so I don't expect them to make things easy for me.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

can you tell us a little bit about your sites (max users online at a given time). Also any specific reason why you're only looking for UK hosts ?

max users online at any given time is currently about 10 (including guests), but it's starting to peak much higher, which is how I first got to be informed that my MySQL database only allows 18 connections at once.

The only main reason I'm looking for a UK host, is that it's cheaper to call customer service when I need help, and I don't have to get woken up and 3am in the morning to accept a confirmation call. But I can live with that if there's a good US company out there, as they're generally a lot cheaper.

Hell, I imagine there's some even better priced Indian hosts knocking around by now.

You need to get this sorted... ;) don't hang about, get across to Tim Dorr at ASO and get yourself an excellent host. I have been with them for nearly 3 years now and am not going to move away.

I have to say, I've had nothing but shining reports about ASO, you and the others have pretty much sold it to me. I've already contacted them to see if they can emulate my current configuration, thanking you. ;)
